Celebrating and Growing Together

Posted on October 10, 2025October 10, 2025 by Joice Villamor

September was a month of growth, gratitude, and a deeper awareness of God’s faithfulness in our Mosaic family. We’ve seen Him at work — building community, shaping hearts, and reminding us that we’re part of His greater story here in Fort Worth. Each step forward fills us with excitement for all that He will continue to do in and through us in the seasons ahead.

Last September 7th, we wrapped up our two-weekend Making Disciples Training, and we’re celebrating what God is doing in our community! Six Mosaic members have committed to the journey of following Jesus and helping others follow Him. This training equips believers with basic ministry skills and practical tools to share their faith, lead community groups, and live fruitful lives on mission—wherever God has placed them. We are all excited as we respond to Jesus’ command to “Go and make disciples.”

On September 14th, we celebrated Mosaic’s 2nd anniversary—a milestone that reminds us of God’s unshakable faithfulness!

Being part of a church plant is both a beautiful and challenging calling. This is the first time I’ve experienced what it means to be part of something God is building from the ground up. In every step, I’ve seen God move in ways big and small, transforming hearts, deepening community, and drawing people closer to Him. I’m grateful and excited to continue witnessing His plans unfold in the days ahead.

Another exciting milestone for September — our first MKids Sunday! We’re so grateful for Luke & Holly Smith’s family, who came all the way from Mosaic Austin to serve with us here in Fort Worth and pour into our kids. Their heart to help us build this next generation of disciples truly blessed our community.

For now, we’ll be having MKids Sunday once a month, and we’re eagerly looking forward to the day when we will have MKids every Sunday—a place where more children can learn about Jesus, grow in faith, and have fun together!

While I usually share three highlights each month, I couldn’t miss celebrating a very special moment — our campus missionary Bria stepping into a new season of life! Some of the women in Mosaic Fort Worth gathered for a bridal shower brunch, where we prayed for her, celebrated her, and shared encouragement before her wedding. It was a beautiful time of love, laughter, and fellowship.

We’re so excited to welcome Bria back after her wedding together with her husband Anthony and continue walking alongside her as she embarks on this next chapter of life and ministry!

Thank You for Answering the Call

To all my ministry partners — my heart overflows with gratitude for each of you! Over the past month, I have received special ministry gifts, and I truly appreciate every one of you. Your prayers, encouragement, and generous partnership make every step of ministry possible. I’ve seen God move in our campuses, neighborhoods, and communities, and your faithfulness is woven into every story I get to witness. Because of you, we’ve been able to disciple others, celebrate milestones, serve families, and share God’s love in so many meaningful ways. Thank you for answering the call to partner and for being such an essential part of this journey!

If you’re reading this and you also have a heart for discipleship, community and campus outreach, children’s ministry, or supporting a growing church plant, I joyfully invite you to prayerfully consider joining my partnership team. I’m nearing 75% of my monthly partnership goal, and every new partner helps extend this ministry—reaching more people in Fort Worth, blessing schools and communities, and walking alongside others as they grow in their faith.

I am confident that God has amazing things yet to come. The fields are ready for harvest, and He is inviting more laborers to join in advancing His kingdom. Together, we can witness His love at work, transforming lives in ways that are both lasting and deeply meaningful—touching lives wherever they live, work, and play for years to come, and inspiring others to follow Jesus in their own journey of faith.

“The Lord has done great things for us; we are glad.” — Psalm 126:3

Hi! Welcome to my page!

About Me

I have the privilege of serving as a missionary for nearly fourteen years now—a calling that has deeply shaped both my life and ministry. I began serving in campus ministry with Victory Church (Every Nation Philippines), where I walked closely with students and young leaders, sharing the gospel and helping them grow in their faith through discipleship.

During that season of ministry, I was also given the opportunity to pursue a Master’s degree in Evangelism and Leadership from Wheaton College Graduate School. That time further deepened my heart for evangelism and strengthened my desire to see people not only come to know Christ, but also grow as lifelong disciples who make disciples.

Today, I continue to serve as a cross-cultural missionary and now live in Fort Worth, Texas, where I help serve with Mosaic Church Fort Worth. My passion is to walk alongside men and women as they come to know God, grow in their faith, and discover their identity in Christ.

I believe discipleship happens not only in formal settings, but also in the rhythms of everyday life—through prayer, honest conversations, and faithfully journeying together as we follow Jesus. It is a joy to see lives transformed by the grace of Christ and to watch people step into the life He invites them to live.
