New Season. Same Faithful God.

Posted on April 17, 2025June 24, 2025 by Joice Villamor

Hi there! I just wanted to take a moment to share a few glimpses from this exciting (and stretching!) season of transition — from the Philippines to Texas, to training in Nashville, and now building my partnership team here in the U.S.

I’m here to serve with a new church plant, and while it’s still early in the journey, I’m excited for what God is going to do. Even in the quiet, behind-the-scenes moments, I’ve seen glimpses of His grace and provision—reminding me that He’s in every step, even the small ones.  I am really grateful for how God has been showing up.

This photo was taken the day I landed in Fort Worth — a big move, a big change, and honestly, a little scary.

But seeing my family there to welcome me made it all feel a little lighter. Their hugs, their prayers, even just their presence reminded me that even in moments of uncertainty, God places the right people around you to remind you: you’re not doing this alone.

This moment was one of the first signs of His faithfulness in this new chapter.

One of the most meaningful moments after arriving was being welcomed by the church I’ll be serving with — Mosaic Fort Worth. From the very beginning, they made me feel seen, supported, and right at home. It’s one thing to start a new season, but it’s another to feel genuinely embraced by the people you’ll walk it out with.

I’m so excited to grow here — to serve alongside this faith-filled community, to build relationships, and to see how God continues to move in and through this church. It already feels like family, and I can’t wait to be part of what’s unfolding here.

I also had an incredible opportunity to train with an amazing team in Nashville — a time of growth, learning, and meaningful connections. Not only did I gain practical tools for the mission ahead, but I also met fellow missionaries from all over the world.

It was such a blessing to share my story and hear theirs, each of us bringing unique experiences, yet united by the same calling to serve. Their stories of faith, resilience, and obedience were deeply inspiring. I left Nashville filled with fresh ideas and a renewed sense of purpose, ready for this next phase of the journey.

Now, as I step into this next chapter in Fort Worth, I’m focused on building my partnership team — and I’m so excited to share that I’m already at 50% of my goal! Every conversation, every “yes,” and every prayer means the world to me. Your love, prayers, and support have been such an encouragement.

I’m deeply grateful for those who are already partnering with me, and I invite you to prayerfully consider joining me in fulfilling the great commission. As I continue to build my team, I ask for your prayers and financial partnership. Your support — both spiritually and financially — is essential in helping me fully step into this calling and ministry here in the U.S.

Would you continue to pray with me as I transition into life and ministry here, build the rest of my partnership team, and grow in faith through this season? Your encouragement and partnership are such a blessing. Thank you so much!

Hi! Welcome to my page!

About Me

I have the privilege of serving as a missionary for nearly fourteen years now—a calling that has deeply shaped both my life and ministry. I began serving in campus ministry with Victory Church (Every Nation Philippines), where I walked closely with students and young leaders, sharing the gospel and helping them grow in their faith through discipleship.

During that season of ministry, I was also given the opportunity to pursue a Master’s degree in Evangelism and Leadership from Wheaton College Graduate School. That time further deepened my heart for evangelism and strengthened my desire to see people not only come to know Christ, but also grow as lifelong disciples who make disciples.

Today, I continue to serve as a cross-cultural missionary and now live in Fort Worth, Texas, where I help serve with Mosaic Church Fort Worth. My passion is to walk alongside men and women as they come to know God, grow in their faith, and discover their identity in Christ.

I believe discipleship happens not only in formal settings, but also in the rhythms of everyday life—through prayer, honest conversations, and faithfully journeying together as we follow Jesus. It is a joy to see lives transformed by the grace of Christ and to watch people step into the life He invites them to live.
