Living on Mission

Posted on April 29, 2026April 29, 2026 by Joice Villamor

March has been a meaningful and full month—marked by moments of reflection, community, and global connection. As we continue stepping into what God is doing, I’m grateful for the ways He is moving both in quiet, personal spaces and in larger, collective moments.

One of the things I was especially grateful for this month was the opportunity to preach within our series, “The Journey”—an invitation to walk closely with Christ as He made His way to the cross. In this message, we reflected on the truth from Matthew 19: “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”

It was a powerful reminder that the call to follow Jesus is not something we can accomplish in our own strength. Left to ourselves, surrender feels impossible, obedience feels costly, and trust can feel out of reach—but with God, what seems impossible becomes possible through His grace. Following Jesus is not just about the destination, but about daily surrender and dependence on Him in every step of the journey. There was a tangible sense that God was drawing hearts back—away from striving and into a deeper, simpler posture of walking with Him in faith.

Another special moment last month was hosting our Community Lunch at our church office for the first time. While these lunches have already been a meaningful rhythm in our community, there was something especially significant about gathering in this new space. It was a rich time of connection, conversation, and shared life—creating room for people to slow down, be seen, and grow in deeper relationships.

We’re especially grateful for the blessing of this new office. It’s becoming more than just a place to work—it’s turning into a hub for community, where people can gather, be equipped, and be encouraged. Seeing the space come alive with connection and purpose has been a reminder that God is faithfully providing places where His people can grow together and be strengthened for what He’s calling them into.

The opportunity to attend the Go Conference in Manila, Philippines was indeed a powerful moment last March. It was such a blessing to be there with my family and our campus missionary, Bria—making it not only impactful but deeply memorable for us. Being gathered with our spiritual family from around the world was incredibly encouraging.

In the midst of the different challenges each nation is facing, there was something profoundly strengthening about coming together in unity—to worship God and be reminded of His love, His power, and His global mission. Seeing believers and hearing testimonies from different nations with one heart and one purpose was both humbling and inspiring.

More than just a conference, it was a powerful moment of alignment and commissioning. The call to “go” wasn’t simply a theme—it was a clear and personal reminder that each of us has a part to play in what God is doing across the nations. We left refreshed, encouraged, and stirred with greater faith to continue saying yes to His mission.

You Are a Vital Part of This

I want to sincerely thank you—our ministry partners—for your prayers, generosity, and faithful support. You are a vital part of every step we take, and we are deeply grateful.

Every opportunity in ministry is ultimately made possible by God through His grace and your partnership is one of the ways He provides and sustains this work. I thank God for you!

As I continue to step into God’s mission here in Texas, I am prayerfully building my partnership team and excited to share that one new partner joined the team this past month—another wonderful reminder of God’s faithfulness at work! I am trusting the Lord to raise up 14 additional partners who can give $100 a month to help reach my support goal. I truly believe that every partner is a testimony of God’s provision, and I am grateful for each one.

If you are not yet partnering with us and would like to be part of what God is doing, we would love to invite you into this journey. Your support helps us reach the campuses and the community, as we step faithfully into the mission He has entrusted to us.

As Paul reminds us in 2 Corinthians 9:11,“You will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.”

Your partnership is a reflection of His provision at work, and it ultimately leads to lives being impacted for His glory.

Hi! Welcome to my page!

About Me

I have the privilege of serving as a missionary for nearly fourteen years now—a calling that has deeply shaped both my life and ministry. I began serving in campus ministry with Victory Church (Every Nation Philippines), where I walked closely with students and young leaders, sharing the gospel and helping them grow in their faith through discipleship.

During that season of ministry, I was also given the opportunity to pursue a Master’s degree in Evangelism and Leadership from Wheaton College Graduate School. That time further deepened my heart for evangelism and strengthened my desire to see people not only come to know Christ, but also grow as lifelong disciples who make disciples.

Today, I continue to serve as a cross-cultural missionary and now live in Fort Worth, Texas, where I help serve with Mosaic Church Fort Worth. My passion is to walk alongside men and women as they come to know God, grow in their faith, and discover their identity in Christ.

I believe discipleship happens not only in formal settings, but also in the rhythms of everyday life—through prayer, honest conversations, and faithfully journeying together as we follow Jesus. It is a joy to see lives transformed by the grace of Christ and to watch people step into the life He invites them to live.
